Joint Pakistani Security Forces Operation in Chitral District Yields Success Against Terrorists

In a significant development, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported a successful intelligence-based operation conducted by Pakistani security forces in the general area of Ursoon, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Chitral District. The operation carried out on the night of 7/8 November 2023, aimed to counter terrorist activities in the region.

The operation witnessed a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists, while four others sustained serious injuries. The security forces are actively engaged in sanitizing the surrounding areas to neutralize any remaining terrorist threats in the region.
