In a significant development, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported a successful intelligence-based operation conducted by Pakistani security forces in the general area of Ursoon, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the Chitral District. The operation carried out on the night of 7/8 November 2023, aimed to counter terrorist activities in the region.
The operation witnessed a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and terrorists, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists, while four others sustained serious injuries.
