Who is Hamas Leader Abu Obaida?

Abu Obaida

Similar to numerous Hamas leaders, Abu Obaida is an unidentified commander who ranks high on Israel’s list of targets. Much like the head of Al-Qassam, Muhammad Dief, Israel has circulated numerous unfounded narratives about him.

The individual dispelled the myth of Israel’s impenetrable Iron Dome and unassailable defense, revealing it to be a falsehood. Israel, in reality, is portrayed as a toothless bulldog. One of his nicknames is “Happiness Maker” because whenever he speaks, it brings joy to everyone listening. His gaze has the power to instill fear in Zionists, leaving them uneasy.

His name, Abu Obaida, is derived from the companion of the Prophet, Abu Ubayda ibn Al-Jarrah, may Allah be pleased with him. Abu Ubayda played a significant role as one of the main companions in the Siege of Jerusalem and successfully conquered it under the orders of Umar, may Allah be pleased with him.
