Ever thougt to flex it in front of friends and family that you know relevant terms and jargons of basant? Here is a non exhaustive list. There are some gunjals, paan, pidhar, leepo kits and maruri/kirikis but over all without much tuks.

| basant | Festive kite flying event |
| chamba | A bamboo stick usually with thorny bushes appended on the top to catch a kite due to its intricate composition |
| chamero | A kite usually a nikhlao cut (a kite with smaller triangular paan with match like embedded sticks which gives it higher torque while spinning fast) |
| charkhi | A spool of thread used to fly a kite |
| cheera | A cut/bruise on hand |
| dang | Bamboo stick of Chaamba |
| dhol | A tukkal kites middle part |
| ghumeri/kumeri | A spinning act to cause a kite achieve a rotational angular momentum |

| guddi | A kite usually not gudda |
| haath/khichi/phenti | An act of pulling the string in fast attempt |

| kainchi | A Y connection of paicha |
| kanti | A stone at end of a thread usually used to get a cut kite in access |
| klutch | A metal wire often used in bike breaks, that is cut into smaller fragments and interwound to attach with tandi so a chamero can have a collection of cut kite |
| kunni | An act of dispatching kite upward as an auxilary attempt to fly a kite |
| lomar | A big kite which is a projection of a pari |
| machar | A small kite |
| loteray | People who catch the kite often with a chaamba or a kaanti |
| Talawain | A triangular connection of thread with the kite that helps fly it |

| Mondayan | A shoulder badge kite |
| nakka/nakkeyon | A triangule tip of a tukkal or an act of catching a paich often closest to the talawain |

| padh | A shape of kite |

| chrika maaran | trying to cause sudden pulses in order to get a knot released or cause a jerk during a paich |

| kunni dena | the act of giving help in order to release it well into the air in first attempt |
| kunni bandhna | the rectification of a revolving kite to retain its balance |
| bulley ki hawa | wind blowing straight above the head |

| chattar hona | the disturbance which draws your kite out of air and puts the rival in a much better position |
