What is Hayya Card?

Every single person attending a FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 game must have a Hayya card (fan ID) a personalized identification card. Note that only upon presentation of your ticket and a unique digital Hayya Card will you be allowed entry to the stadium. International spectators must confirm their lodging arrangements and apply for a digital Hayya Card (handled by Microsoft), which serves as both an entry visa for the State of Qatar and a stadium admission card (along with your match ticket). Qatar is after all a small place like Jeddah, prior to traveling to the State of Qatar, visitors are required to make arrangements for their lodging. This is a friendly reminder that before gaining final clearance on their Hayya Card application, all overseas fans must make arrangements for their lodging. Your choices consist of:

• Book accommodation through the official accommodation agent of Qatar2022.qa/book
• Plan a stay with family and friends. A Qatari family member or friend must register as a host through the  Accommodation > Host Family & Friends option available on the Hayya portal
• Scheduling a Matchday Visit. Travel dates must be registered via the Haya Portal Accommodation > Visit on Match Day option.
• Share paid accommodation options available on Hayya Portal under My Hayya > Action > Share My Paid
• Upload bookings from other platforms via options available on Hayya Portal Accommodation > Upload Other Platforms Booking Options can be AirBnb, Booking.com, or Sports Village.

Your lodging arrangements will be automatically validated by Hayya once you’ve made them. Use the email address you provided when applying for your digital Hayya Card, and be sure to keep it consistent.
