Why were phone calls entertained, Mr. Raja, under your regime? I believe that Ramiz Raja is deliberately ruining Shan Masood’s career. I acknowledge Shan Masood’s impressive performance in high-stakes games like the T20 final against England and a match against India. Ramiz is following in the footsteps of Imran Khan. While in power, Ramiz was inactive and silent, but now that he has been removed from power, he is making nonsensical statements.
Although Shan Masood may not be as talented as other players, he has a level head and is physically fit, which are rare qualities in the current setup. I think that with proper grooming, Shan Masood could be a great captain as leadership qualities are not always found in the most talented players. Shan Masood has a great track record when he scored hundreds in county cricket and also in Pakistan’s domestic circuit. Shan Masood was the top run-scorer for Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. I like his selfless attitude, unlike many others.

I also think it’s good that the PCB is limiting the captain’s power. Ramiz attempted to make Babar into a leader like Imran Khan, but Babar does not have the necessary skills. It is important to keep Babar’s authority in check, and the PCB should seriously consider removing the captaincy from him.
