Masood’s height is not publicly known. His highest score in Test cricket is 125. He is married and his wife’s name is also not publicly known.
The captain and vice-captain of Pakistan’s upcoming ODI series have the highest List-A batting averages among active cricketers who have played at least 100 innings. The top three averages are:
- 57.9 – Michael Bevan (Australia)
- 57.1 – Shan Masood (Pakistan)
- 56.6 – Babar Azam (Pakistan)
I believe that Shan Masood deserves a fair chance to prove himself as he is a hard worker. If he fails, then it would be appropriate to drop him. I also think it’s good that the PCB is limiting the captain’s power. Ramiz attempted to make Babar into a leader like Imran Khan, but Babar does not have the necessary skills. It is important to keep Babar’s authority in check, and the PCB should seriously consider removing the captaincy from him.
