I am not sure if you guys think like this or not. But overwhelmingly current Pakistan Cricket Team players are Imran Khan fanboys. Yes, the nation comes first. But I am imagining what if Pakistan wins the cup. Then, it would be the biggest mistake to have Ramiz Raja continue the Chairmanship and Babar remain the captain. Both are heavily influenced. They might try to give credit to “Kaptaan” as evident from their tweets. They might as well not give credit to the current Government for the continuation of the regime and for keeping politics aside from sports.

Lastly, if the influence is God forbid that a big, then Khan might not let Pakistan win the final because his stardom will dilute. So what do I propose? Do we kick out people who perform for the cricket team? That’s what they all do – it’s normal. I don’t think we should be policing people’s personal thoughts and likes and dislikes about politicians when it comes to national duty. That’ would veer towards fascism.
