Achievements and Support:
Success has many fathers;….
- Kameran Tesori’s Contribution: The announcement of 2 million from his own pocket signifies personal and national pride.
- Attauallah Tarrar’s Mention: The government’s support in helping Arshad secure a South African visa underlines the state’s role in nurturing talent.
- Mayor Karachi’s Announcement: Murtaza Wahab’s 5 crore rupees pledge highlights the local government’s recognition of Arshad’s achievements.
- Corporate Sponsorship: Toyota and Ufone’s sponsorship illustrates the role of corporate support in sports.
- Zorays Solar’s Commitment: Your company’s promise to provide solar power if Arshad secured a podium position shows the private sector’s enthusiasm for supporting national talent.
Attauallah Tarrar mentioned how the government played a crucial role in helping Arshad secure a South African visa, showing that his journey was supported at every step. Corporate giants like Toyota and Ufone also stepped in as official sponsors, demonstrating how private sector involvement is crucial in nurturing talent.
Zorays Solar, staying true to their 2021 promise, is now honoring their commitment by providing solar power, having vowed to do so if Arshad secured a podium position. This is a testament to the private sector’s enthusiasm for supporting our national heroes.
This also settles the debate that Arshad is the number one athlete Pakistan has ever produced and I can never fail to recall the contribution of PMLN Punjab Govt that came into being in 2008 fostered and nurtured such a talent.
On a lighter note, some have humorously suggested that Elon Musk should recruit Arshad to launch SpaceX rockets, or that Iran should hire him to send missiles into Tel Aviv. These exaggerated remarks highlight just how powerful his throws have been, making him a subject of global admiration.
Make Javelin the national sports of Pakistan
As the nation celebrates, it’s clear that Arshad Nadeem deserves a hero’s welcome upon his return. The idea of making javelin the national sport of Pakistan reflects how deeply his success has resonated with the public. While cricket has long been the dominant sport, there’s a growing realization that other sports like javelin deserve their place in the sun.
Prostrate in front of Allah
Even as India continues to collect silvers and bronzes, it’s Pakistan’s gold that truly shines, reminding us that sometimes, one victory is worth more than many. As we bow in gratitude before Allah, we recognize that Arshad’s success is not just his own but a victory for the entire nation.
