Doing this on an open road in India is just not feasible. Firstly, due to the high population density, and secondly, the immense craze for cricket. Therefore, it’s a prudent decision to make it a closed event and not allow public entry. Also, to organize such ceremonies, it is necessary for the people of the country to be well-mannered.

The BCCI seems to lack original ideas of its own, nor does it seem inclined to borrow from others. It appears they couldn’t care less.
