For the first time in the history of the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli colonial settler state, characterized by its racist and supremacist ideology, the Palestinian resistance movement has taken the initiative to deter the brutal occupation forces. The objectives of this operation are to halt the ongoing desecration of Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem by soldiers and settlers, put an end to the daily attacks and killings of Palestinian youth in West Bank camps and cities, secure the release of thousands of Palestinian prisoners enduring inhumane and harsh conditions in Israeli prisons, lift the illegal siege on Gaza, and demonstrate to the entire world that the Palestinian fight will persist until all the rights of Palestinians are reinstated, including the right of return.
As for the solution, Husam Zomlot suggests:
- Equal application of international law and resolutions, similar to how it’s done with other conflicts like Ukraine.
- Full adherence to the rules of the League of Nations and the United Nations, with Israel no longer being an exception.
- Israel, as an occupying force, should provide protection for the people under its occupation.
Lastly, Israel with its crocodile tears is spreading fake image of mutated bodies calling as their own.
