Pakistan’s latest luxury EV launch comes with a price tag that keeps the affordability question firmly in view. PakWheels reported on 3 October 2026 that Master Changan had announced AVATR 07 and AVATR 11 prices ranging from PKR 20 million to PKR 29 million. These are premium vehicles; their arrival should be assessed separately from the question of how electric transport becomes accessible to a broader market.

What the announced prices mean
According to that report, the AVATR 07 Max RWD costs PKR 20 million and the Ultra AWD PKR 22 million, with a PKR 4 million booking amount for either variant. The AVATR 11 Ultra RWD is listed at PKR 27 million, the Ultra AWD at PKR 28 million and the AWD Royal Edition at PKR 29 million. The reported booking amount for each AVATR 11 variant is PKR 6 million.
A booking payment is only the first commitment. Buyers need a written quotation showing the total payable amount, delivery terms and any additional charges before treating a headline price as their complete budget. The figures above describe the announced lineup, not a dealer quotation issued today.
A luxury launch is not an affordability breakthrough
AVATR describes the 07 as an urban luxury SUV, while Changan’s global brand description positions AVATR in the premium intelligent EV segment. That positioning matters: these models should be judged as luxury products rather than presented as a solution to everyday commuting costs.
