It means the streak is close to expiring. Both people should send one another a qualifying photo or video Snap promptly.
Can a lost streak be recovered?
Sometimes. Recently expired streaks may show a Restore option in the Chat screen. If that option is absent, the streak may no longer be eligible.
Can everyone see my location on Snap Map?
No. Snapchat says location sharing is off by default, and only selected friends can see it after it has been enabled. Users should still review the setting and use Ghost Mode when location sharing is unnecessary.
