Türkiye opening a new chapter beneath Pakistan’s waters is welcome. Now the government, regulators and operating companies must publish enough technical progress to let the nation distinguish momentum from marketing. Pakistan does not need another mythical offshore fortune. It needs disciplined exploration, transparent results and the courage to keep drilling intelligently even when one well fails.
The sea owes Pakistan nothing—but Pakistan owes itself a serious attempt to discover what is actually there.
