Abdullah Shafique
Abdullah from Sialkot is going to unleash some serious power today. He’s going to provide the strong start Pakistan needs.
Parchi Babar Azam
Mediocre Babar goes out too soon. Might leave his captaincy during the tournament. Poor batting approach. Playing timidly and not putting pressure on the bowlers. It’s a strange and subpar approach. Just make him act in ads, he was hitting sixes blindfolded in every ball, but here he can’t bat at all even with protective eyewear.
5 against Netherlands, 10 against Sri Lanka. The World No. 1 ODI batter has struggled to find form in the tournament so far… Could a big hundred from Babar Azam be on the horizon against India?
Muhammad Rizwan
Nowadays, you blink and Rizwan is already at the crease. Babar Azam, what have you done!!!
Abdullah Shafique and Mohammad Rizwan with a hundred. A phenomenal performance from Pakistan to achieve a record-breaking run-chase against Sri Lanka. This is the BIGGEST successful run chase EVER in World Cup HISTORY!!! Thank you for giving us a reason to celebrate, Team Pakistan. We must applaud Sri Lanka for their effort in putting an exciting score on the board, and what a chase.
The support for the Pakistan Cricket team at the Hyderabad Cricket Stadium was extraordinary. Chants of ‘Jitega Bhai Jitega – Pakistan Jitega’ and the echoes of ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’ filled the stadium. Every run was cheered as if Pakistan was playing at Qaddafi Stadium or National Stadium, not Hyderabad Cricket Stadium.
It felt like a home match for us.
Muhammad Rizwan
