Karisma’s response added a playful counterpoint. In the same episode, she replied to Salman’s remark about their long‑standing connection with a light‑hearted “Take it back,” a line that was captured in a tweet on 28 Oct 2026. The exchange hinted at a lingering camaraderie, even as other users recalled a past claim that their “longest living affair” had effectively ended in the 1990s. The juxtaposition of present‑day banter with older rumors highlights the layered narrative surrounding their relationship.
Audience reaction blended admiration with humor. Some viewers described Ranveer’s *Dhurandhar* performance as “goated” and “out‑of‑the‑box,” while others used hyperbole—such as a post that said Salman “delivered a resounding slap on Karan’s face” while discussing the same film—to convey the intensity of the conversation. Though figurative, these expressions reflect the episode’s ability to spark lively debate across fan communities.
Beyond the immediate reunion, the episode served as a broader tribute to Bollywood’s 1990s era. Salman referenced contemporaries like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgn, describing them as “like brothers.” This acknowledgment placed the current conversation within a historical continuum, reminding viewers that the industry’s present is built upon the foundations laid by that iconic cohort.
