Experience Internet “Differently” with Optix

Yeah, right. So I looked up internet and instantly found people with similar complaints. List of Problems:

  1. Outages: Literally facing disconnection every day. Common excuse that the rivals cut their fiber. Sue them, register an FIR, do not complain like that.
  2. Port Downgrades: Although their claim is that Optix is providing symmetric speed, means you can get complete 10 Mbps download/upload at the same time. However, there is no speed consistency
  3. Un-matching upload speed which means that download is merely an optics. Pun intended. Intentionally wrongly marketed products e.g. they offer 50 Mbps as a trial and do not upgrade your connection until you make them accountable.                  Optix Hoax
  4. Xtreme app logins not provided to date. They charge you 100 Rupees per month for that, yet deprive you of the credentials.
  5. Special bias of Karachi based customer support towards Lahore based clients. They will get remote desktop access and midway will make a failing excuse of voice trouble. Refute this with history. I did actually write one of the Customer Support Representative that I can actually chat with you to get the problem resolved while asking for Xtreme app details during Ramazan. He still hung up on me because of “chutti time”.
  6. They irrationally charge for migration of your internet connection. It is merely a bargain. They will charge you for already present infrastructure. For example, our plaza had connections already available. They still charged us for cables although we had a device. We took the device from point A, my home, to point B.
  7. Two types of devices, both having different indexing schemes and different channels. Even the lower non-digital model is a copy with unopperative functions such as Youtube etc.
  8. VoIP based phone lines with time barring and possibly so poor time-multiplexing that it seems that the bandwidth is being shared. Upon migration they will insist to provide you with a new number.
  9. Their video on demand still plays Bollywood movies despite a ban by PEMRA.
  10. TV is pathetic and comes with lag:
