This is the uncomfortable but necessary conclusion:

If basic hygiene, air quality, athlete safety, and dignity cannot be guaranteed, stop bidding for global events until they can.

Not temporarily. Not cosmetically. Structurally.

Sports deserve better.
Athletes deserve better.
And credibility is earned only when excuses stop.
