Pakistan Army Aviation Corps used two helicopters, AH-1F attack gunships and an AS550 C3 Fennec armed scout helicopter, on an operational COIN mission, in Balochistan.

  • Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Aziz, identified as CO (Commanding Officer) of 11 Cavalry, attended the funeral of Nk Ibrahim in Charsadda on September 12, 2023.
  • Lt Col Abid Aziz has a brother named Major Khalid Aziz, who is identified as being part of the Special Services Group (SSG). Unfortunately, Major Khalid Aziz embraced Shahadat (martyrdom) during an operation in Bugti.
  • Another brother, Brigadier Shahid Aziz, is currently in command of an SSG brigade in Tarbela.
