Pakistan Army Aviation Corps used two helicopters, AH-1F attack gunships and an AS550 C3 Fennec armed scout helicopter, on an operational COIN mission, in Balochistan.

Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Aziz, identified as CO (Commanding Officer) of 11 Cavalry, attended the funeral of Nk Ibrahim in Charsadda on September 12, 2023.
Lt Col Abid Aziz has a brother named Major Khalid Aziz, who is identified as being part of the Special Services Group (SSG). Unfortunately, Major Khalid Aziz embraced Shahadat (martyrdom) during an operation in Bugti.
Another brother, Brigadier Shahid Aziz, is currently in command of an SSG brigade in Tarbela.
