Why Wasim Akram’s PSL XI Appointment Matters
Akram is more than a cricket legend; he is a global ambassador for Pakistan’s sporting credibility. His appointment aligns the PSL brand with professionalism, legacy, and international trust—qualities essential as the league competes for audiences, sponsors, and elite talent worldwide. Above all, that is to both nullify the Imran Khan stardom and Multan Sultan’s cult lead by Ali Khan Tareen as Wasim Akram once was a part of.
As PSL 11 approaches, the message is clear: the league is entering a phase of reconciliation, consolidation, credibility, and calculated growth—with the Sultan of Swing front and center.
