Does the agreement automatically put Pakistan at war if Saudi Arabia or Türkiye is attacked?
The public statement does not establish that. It declares that an attack on one will be regarded as an attack on all, but the complete agreement has not been released, so the required form of assistance and national decision process remain unknown.
Does Article 51 authorise preventive attacks?
No. Article 51 recognises self-defence when an armed attack occurs. It does not create a general permission for preventive war or unlimited retaliation.
